Dear teachers,

We hope you and your students enjoy the Native and Edible Gardens. One of the goals of this Website is to provide you with easy access to resources that you can use in the classroom and the gardens. The best first step is to please let our students know about the rules for using the Native Garden: No running or tag, and stay on the trails. Thank you!

Here are some resources for bringing the Gardens into your classroom…

School Garden Inventory:

During the 2006-2007 school year, the Oregon Department of Education surveyed schools statewide to gather benchmark data on existing school gardens and the role they play in education, wellness and skills development.  Click here to view.
